Yingkou Lubrication New Materials Industry Cluster is Rising

On May 10th, the Liaoning (Yingkou) Coastal Industrial Base Lubricant New Material Industry Investment Promotion Conference and the First Volkswagen Lubricant Supplier Conference were held at the Hongyun Hotel in Yingkou. Leaders from Fosun Lubricants (China) Co., Ltd., representatives from domestic and foreign lubricant companies, and industry experts gathered together to focus on the development of the lubricant new material industry, discuss the construction of the entire lubricant new material industry chain, promote the construction and development of the Yingkou Lubricant New Material Industrial Park in China, and promote the upgrading of the lubricant industry.

Yingkou is an important driving force for Liaoning to achieve new breakthroughs in comprehensive revitalization, with its economic output and growth rate ranking among the top in Liaoning Province for many consecutive years. In recent years, the Yingkou Municipal Party Committee and Government have focused on transforming and upgrading "old brands", deeply developing "original brands", and cultivating and strengthening "new brands", vigorously promoting the implementation of the three-year action plan for comprehensive revitalization and new breakthroughs, and fully promoting the high-quality development of advantageous industries such as fine chemicals, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing. The urban economic and social development has gradually entered the fast lane. Last year, the 6th Lubricant Industry Development Summit Forum was held in Yingkou. Taking this as an opportunity, the Liaoning (Yingkou) Coastal Industrial Base signed contracts with six units including the Lubricant Enterprise Alliance of the Small and Medium sized Enterprises Working Committee of the China Petrochemical Federation, Juneng Petrochemical, and Spark Technology, laying a solid foundation for the development of the lubricant new material industry cluster. At present, Liaoning (Yingkou) Coastal Industrial Base is focusing on building the "China Yingkou Lubrication New Materials Industrial Park", and has settled in 9 lubricant oil enterprises including Volkswagen, Ganghe Petroleum, Younike, Namix, Yingkou Petrochemical, Spark Chemical, Juneng Petrochemical, Mingyuan Technology, Jincheng Energy, etc. The current lubricant oil production capacity is 500000 tons per year. Yingkou will mobilize the efforts of the whole city to build the "China Yingkou Lubricant New Material Industrial Park" into a large-scale, long industrial chain, and comprehensive lubricant new material production base in northern China.

At the meeting, the heads of various fields of Volkswagen Lubricants (China) Co., Ltd. gave detailed introductions on supplier management requirements, market development trends, future development plans, and other topics. They also discussed with representatives of participating companies the new problems and new situations faced by the development of the lubricant new material finished products, raw materials, and packaging supporting industries.
